This policy explains what personal information School Visual collects when you visit this website or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask us.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need:

• Contact details you send through our contact form or email: name, email address, organisation and your message.
• Usage data, if you accept analytics cookies: pages visited, time on page, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type.
• Project information you share with us while we work together.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect more than we need to run the studio.

2. How we use it

To reply to your enquiries, deliver projects, invoice, improve this website, and meet legal obligations. That's it. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

3. Cookies and analytics

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Essential cookies (like remembering your cookie choice) are always on because the site cannot work without them. Analytics cookies are set only if you choose "Accept all".

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser; the banner will ask again on your next visit. Rejecting analytics does not change what you can see or do on the site.

4. Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the studio, such as email, hosting and analytics providers, and only as far as needed to provide their service. They may not use your information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to 2 years, so we have context if you come back. Project and invoicing records: as long as tax and contract law requires. Analytics data: up to 14 months. We delete or anonymise information we no longer need.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email us and we will act on your request within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of personal data we hold deliberately small.

8. International transfers

We are a remote-first studio, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on providers that offer recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
